Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • melted butter - 4 Tbsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • cottage cheese
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • egg yolks unbeaten - 2 item

How to make cottage cheese pie:

Combine in order given (mix well). Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake until filling is firm, about 30 minutes.

Fresh cherries or currants may be substituted for raisins if desired.
