Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- cottage cheese
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- egg yolks unbeaten - 2 item
How to make cottage cheese pie:
Combine in order given (mix well). Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake until filling is firm, about 30 minutes.Fresh cherries or currants may be substituted for raisins if desired.
