- onion soup mix - 1/2 pkg
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- cottage cheese - 1 (16
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- or 3 green onions, chopped - 2 item
- chopped water chestnuts - 1 c
- uncooked oats - 1 c
- to 6 eggs or equivalent in Egg Beaters - 4 item
- small amount fresh parsley - 1 item
- small can or fresh, chopped mushrooms - 1 item
How to make cottage cheese patties:
Mix all and drop by spoonfuls in small amount of oil and fry. Place in casserole and cover with 1 can mushroom soup, 1 cup sour cream and small amount of milk to make thin sauce. Heat in oven until heated through. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Main dish.
