Corned beef casserole



  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • oleo, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • can corned beef - 1 item
  • pepper optional - 1 item
  • Lipton onion soup - 1 pkg

How to make corned beef casserole:

In large pan mix corned beef, oleo, tomatoes, onion soup, pepper, 2 tablespoons flour and tomato sauce thoroughly and cook slowly; then set aside to cool. Mix 2 cups flour and shortening with enough water to hold together; mix well and roll out very thin. Place dough in bottom of baking pan; press over bottom and up sides; pour cooked and cooled filling in pan; then roll out a piece of dough very thin and place over the top of cooked filling. Bake at 400° for about 20 minutes.
