Corned beef and cabbage



  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • corned beef brisket - 4 lb
  • medium potatoes, peeled and halved - 6 item
  • medium cabbage, cut in wedges - 1 item
  • medium carrots, cut in 2-inch lengths - 4 item

How to make corned beef and cabbage:

Boil 4 quarts of water and bay leaves. Add brisket and simmer 3 hours, partly covered. Add rest and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
