Cornbread dressing
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 qt
- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion
- chopped celery - 1 c
- sage - 2 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1 tsp
- cornbread crumbs - 5 c
- light bread crumbs - 4 c
How to make cornbread dressing:
Soak bread crumbs in part of liquid. Fry onions and celery in oil or fat until brown. Beat eggs and combine rest of ingredients. Add remainder of milk. Potato water is real good to mix with the milk also. Mix well. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Recipe categories: Christmas, Side dish, Stuffings Dressings.
