Cornbread dressing

Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1 Tbsp
• water - 2 c
• pepper - 1 Tbsp
• sage - 1 tsp
• onion, chopped - 1/2 c
• bacon drippings - 1/2 c
• cornbread crumbs - 6 c
• broth chicken or turkey - 2 c
• bacon, browned and crumbled - 1 lb

How to make cornbread dressing:

Combine all ingredients. Toss well. (Mixture should be very moist. More water can be added if needed). Cook in a 13 x 9-inch pan or baking dish for 30 to 40 minutes (until browned slightly on top) at 350°.
