Cornbread dressing
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 c
- chopped celery - 3 c
- chicken broth - 2 3
- sage - 1 Tbsp
- poultry seasoning - 2 Tbsp
- crumbled cornbread - 6 c
- boiled egg, chopped - 1 item
- stale or toasted bread - 3 c
- Repeat for celery
- liver, gizzard and neck meat, cut up - 1 item
How to make cornbread dressing:
Saute onion in margarine until tender, but not brown. Repeat for celery. Heat broth. Combine all other ingredients, then add broth and mix well.
