Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 2 c
  • chopped celery - 3 c
  • chicken broth - 2 3
  • sage - 1 Tbsp
  • poultry seasoning - 2 Tbsp
  • crumbled cornbread - 6 c
  • boiled egg, chopped - 1 item
  • stale or toasted bread - 3 c
  • Repeat for celery
  • liver, gizzard and neck meat, cut up - 1 item

How to make cornbread dressing:

Saute onion in margarine until tender, but not brown. Repeat for celery. Heat broth. Combine all other ingredients, then add broth and mix well. Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until brown.Giblet Gravy:1/2 c. wa
