Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- red pepper sauce - 1/2 tsp
- cans whole kernel corn - 2 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- chopped pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- instant minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 c
How to make corn relish:
In medium saucepan, heat sugar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed, vinegar and red pepper sauce to boiling. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in corn (with liquid) and remaining ingredients. Cool; cover and refrigerate several days to blend flavors.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
