Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- chopped green peppers - 1 c
- white vinegar
- corn - 10 c
- mustard seed
- turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- chopped sweet red and yellow peppers - 1 c
How to make corn relish:
Drop ears of corn into boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes. Dip into cold water; cut from cob. Measure and combine with remaining ingredients and boil for 15 minutes. Pack into sterilized jars, to within 1/2-inch of top. Put on caps; tighten bands. ProcRecipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
