Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 qt
- mustard - 2 tsp
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- head cabbage - 1 item
- sweet green peppers - 3 item
- red peppers - 3 item
- ears corn 2 qt - 1 doz
How to make corn relish:
Blanch corn 2 minutes. Drop into cold water before cutting off cob. Chop peppers and cabbage. Cook all together 20 minutes. After you pack in jars, simmer 25 minutes.Mighty good when the winter wind is howlin.
