Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • corn, drained - 2 c

How to make corn pudding:

Melt butter; stir in flour, salt and sugar. Add milk gradually. Stirring, cook over medium heat until thickened. When it boils, it is thickened. Stir in corn and eggs. Pour into a greased casserole. Set in shallow pan of hot water. Bake 15 minutes at 375°, then 30 minutes at 350°. Check; if knife placed into the center comes out clean and middle is firm, it is done. It usually takes at least 1 hour.
