Corn pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- sifted flour - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- bacon or sausage - 1 item
- kernel corn fresh or canned
How to make corn pancakes:
Beat egg yolks until light. Mix in corn, salt, pepper and flour. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into corn mixture. Fry in bacon fat (or butter/oil) until golden. Turn and do other side. Serves 4 to 5 people. They puff up nicely.Recipe categories: Low fat, Vegetables, Corn.
