Corn fritters
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 1 item
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 item
- water or milk - 1/4 c
How to make corn fritters:
Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Combine remaining ingredients except oil and stir into dry ingredients. Drop by tablespoons into hot oil (375°). Fry until golden brown turning once. Drain on paper towels and serve warm. Makes twelve 2-inchRecipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
