Corn fritters
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- whole kernel corn
How to make corn fritters:
Drain corn. Reserve liquid. Add milk to liquid to measure 1 cup. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk mixture and corn. Add to dry ingredients. Mix until moistened.Drop batter from tablespoon into deep fryer at 375°. Fry until golden brown, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve with warm maple syrup or hot melted butter.
