  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • dash of cream of tartar - 1 item
  • coconut - 1 c
  • egg whites - 2 item
  • corn flakes - 2 c
  • almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp

How to make corn flake macaroons:

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Add sugar slowly, continuing to beat. Fold in remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
