Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- peanut butter - 1 c
- white syrup - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- corn flakes - 6 c
- salted peanuts - 1 c
How to make corn flake bars:
In a saucepan, mix sugars and syrup over low heat. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add peanut butter and stir well. In a large mixing bowl, stir together corn flakes and peanuts; stir in sugar-syrup mixture, mixing well. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and press firmly. Melt chips and spread on top. Cut into squares all the way through and refrigerate. Cool and break into squares. Remember, cut while warm!I use all milk chocolate.
