Corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 1/2 c
- can corn or 1 bag frozen corn - 1 item
How to make corn chowder:
Simmer the water, onion, celery, potatoes and parsley until half cooked, about 10 minutes. Add the corn. Simmer gently with the other vegetables until nearly done, not more than a few minutes. Add milk and bring the soup just to boiling point without actually boiling. Add seasonings to taste.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
