Ingredients/Components
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- parsley, chopped - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- slices bacon - 6 item
- large carrot, chopped - 1 item
- dash Tabasco - 1 item
- cans cream of corn - 2 oz
- can low-fat milk - 1 item
How to make corn chowder:
Fry bacon; drain, crumble and reserve. Saute next 4 ingredients until tender in 2 tablespoons bacon fat. Add next 4 ingredients; heat until hot. Add more milk if the soup seems too thick. Stir in reserved bacon. Garnish with parsley. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
