Corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- skim milk
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- green onions, finely chopped - 3 item
- fresh or frozen corn - 2 c
- pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
- small red pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
How to make corn chowder:
In saucepan, add onions and pepper; cook until tender. In processor, blend 1 cup milk, flour and 1 cup corn on low speed until smooth. Stir corn mixture with the remaining cup of corn and other ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
