Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
  • celery, chopped - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten well - 2 item
  • can sliced water chestnuts, drained - 1 item
  • instant rice - 1 c
  • cream-style corn - 1 c
  • dash of Tabasco optional - 1 item
  • whole white corn, drained Pride of Illinois, Shoe Peg - 1 c

How to make corn casserole:

Mix up the night before needed and put in refrigerator. Take out and put in cold oven. Turn oven to 325° and bake for 15 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
