Corn casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
- large eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- cans yellow cream-style corn - 2 1/2
- can drained, chopped green chiles - 1 oz
- shredded Cheddar cheese, shredded 8 oz - 2 c
How to make corn casserole:
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, then add corn meal, salt and soda. Pour in lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Side dish, Corn, Casseroles.
