Corn casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
- large eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- can chopped green chiles, drained - 1 oz
- cans yellow cream-style corn - 2 1/2
How to make corn casserole:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine cornmeal and remaining ingredients. Stir in corn mixture. Pour into a lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Yields 8 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Corn, Casseroles.
