  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2/3 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • molasses - 1/4 c
  • sour milk - 3/4 c
  • corn meal - 1/3 c
  • melted lard shortening - 1 Tbsp

How to make corn cake:

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and put in greased square cake pan. Bake at 375° about 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
