Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 4 Tbsp
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
- white flour - 1 c
How to make corn cake:
Preheat oven to 425°. Butter a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; mix well. Quickly add sour cream, milk, eggs and butter; stir just to mix.
