Corn bread casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- sliced almonds - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- can French-style green beans, drained - 1 item
- can Shoe Peg corn, drained - 1 item
- grated sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- Topping:1/2 stick margarine, melted
- Ritz or saltine crackers - 1/2 pkg
How to make corn bread casserole:
Topping:1/2 stick margarine, melted1/2 pkg. Ritz or saltine crackers1/2 c. sliced almonds Mix lightly. Pour into greased casserole. Mix topping ingredients and pour on casserole. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. (It works better to cook casserole 20 minutes before putting on topping. Prevents too much browning.)Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Bacon.
