- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 2 c
- water - 4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- corn meal - 2 c
How to make corn bread:
Cook water and corn meal until thick, then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then 350° for 1 hour. Grease pan well. This will keep in the refrigerator if wrapped in foil or in Tupperware bowl.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Southern u.s..
