Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • whole corn - 3 c
  • herb-seasoned stuffing croutons

How to make corn balls:

In saucepan, cook onion and celery in butter until tender; set aside to cool. In bowl, combine croutons, corn, eggs, water, salt, pepper and onion mixture; mix well. Shape into 8 to 10 balls. Place in an ungreased shallow baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Yields 8 to 10 corn balls.
