  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
  • light cream - 2 c
  • butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • walnuts, chopped - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1/8 tsp
  • 4 oz - 1 c
  • bread crumbs
  • onion, chopped - 1 c
  • dill weed - 1 tsp
  • cubed cooked turkey - 4 c
  • cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/4 c
  • cubed cooked ham - 3 c

How to make cordon bleu casserole:

Topping:1 c. bread crumbs2 Tbsp. butter, melted1/4 tsp. dill weed1/4 c. cheddar cheese, shredded1/4 c. walnuts, chopped Casserole: Set aside turkey, ham and cheese combination in saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add flour, stir to paste. Stirring slowly, add cream. Heat to boil until thick. Add seasonings; mix well and pour over meat mixture. Spoon into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Topping: Toss bread crumbs with butter and dill; stir in cheese and nuts. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake 30 minutes uncovered at 350°. Yields 8-10 servings.
