Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- parsley - 2 tsp
- marjoram - 1/8 tsp
- sea scallops - 1 lb
- minced onions - 2 Tbsp
- dry white cooking wine or cooking sherry - 3/4 c
- washed chopped fresh mushrooms 1 1/2 c - 1/4 lb
How to make coquille st. jacques:
In a medium pan, cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter. Add scallops, lemon juice, salt, paprika, wine and marjoram; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add mushrooms and simmer 2 more minutes.
