Ingredients/Components
- medium skinless, boneless, chicken breast halves, cut into 1 inch pieces - 8 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms - 3 c
- margarine or butter - 2 Tbsp
- dry white wine - 1/4 c
- dried tarragon, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- lasagna noodles, cooked and drained - 8 item
- cream cheese, cut up - 8 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- half-and-half - 1/2 c
- Gruyere cheese, shredded - 4 oz
- Muenster cheese, shredded - 4 oz
- slivered almonds - 3 Tbsp
How to make coq au vin:
In large skillet, cook onion and mushrooms in butter over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Add chicken, wine, tarragon, pepper, and salt. Bring just to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Halve lRecipe categories: Main dish, Poultry, Meat.
