Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- mustard - 1 tsp
- onion, diced - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 3 lb
- Worcestershire - 1 tsp
- Dressing:1 can tomato soup
How to make copper pennies:
Dressing:1 can tomato soup1/2 c. vinegar1 tsp. mustard3/4 c. sugar1/2 c. salad oil1 tsp. Worcestershire1/2 tsp. salt Cook carrots until tender; drain and cool. Mix soup, oil, vinegar, Worcestershire, mustard and sugar. Heat to a boil; cool and pour over carrots, onion and green pepper. Marinate for 1 day. Keeps well in refrigerator.
