  • sugar - 1 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • salad oil - 1/3 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • carrots, peeled and sliced - 2 lb
  • large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • medium onions, thinly sliced - 2 item

How to make copper pennies:

Boil carrots in salted water until fork-tender; drain. Mix carrots with onions and green pepper. Heat the remaining ingredients until completely blended. Pour over vegetables. Refrigerate overnight.
