Cooked cabbage



  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • shredded carrots - 1 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • cabbage, cut up - 5 c

How to make cooked cabbage:

Melt butter in saucepan and add 5 cups cabbage, carrots and onion. Stir and add water. Cover and steam 4 to 5 minutes or until moisture is gone. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and a dash of pepper, a dash of paprika and a small amount of mustard (optional) just before serving.
