Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- chocolate chips - 1 pkg
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- box brown sugar - 1 item
How to make congo squares:
Combine brown sugar and melted margarine. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to other mixture. Add vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
