Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can water - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- red wine - 1/2 c
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- beef stew - 2 lb
How to make company stew:
Mix and pour soups, water, wine and mushrooms over lightly floured and browned stew meat. Cover and bake at 325° for 3 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Fold in sour cream and serve.Variations: Add vegetables such as carrots, peas, etc. Delicious served over noodles or rice. Serves 6.
