Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- bag hash brown potatoes - 2 lb
- chopped bell pepper red or green - 1/2 c
How to make company potatoes:
Using a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish, melt butter in the dish. Pour in the frozen hash brown potatoes and put aside. In a bowl, mix the Cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, onion and bell pepper together. Pour the cheese mixture over top of the hash browns. Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top and cover. Bake at 350° for one hour and 10 minutes.
