Colored popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- popcorn - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/8 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- drops food coloring - 3 item
How to make colored popcorn:
Use an electric popper or a large covered saucepan on the stove.Place popcorn in pan or popper. Mix oil, sugar and food coloring in a cup. Pour mixture into pan/popper. Pop corn as usual, keeping corn moving at all times.
The sugar will burn easily if not removed from pan or popper as soon as popping stops. Pour immediately into metal bowl, not plastic. Cool 5 minutes, then stir.
This will stay crisp several days if kept in an airtight container.
