Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- medium green pepper - 1 item
- medium cabbage - 1 item
How to make cole slaw:
Shred cabbage, onion and green pepper. Mix with 3/4 cup sugar. Let this mixture stand until you mix and bring to a boil the other ingredients. Pour this over the shredded mixture and mix well. Let stand and chill in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours, before serving. Keep refrigerated. This will keep about 2 weeks.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
