  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • butter flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • black walnut flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • whole eggs - 6 item
  • fine flour - 3 c

How to make cold oven pound cake:

Cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flavorings. Sift together dry ingredients. Add half at a time with milk. Mix well. Light oven, when you put in cake, at 350°. Bake in stem pan, greased and floured.
