  • sugar - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • large eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla flavor
  • flour plain or all-purpose or cake - 3 c
  • whipping cream pour directly from container, do not whip - 1/2 pt

How to make cold oven pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add flour and whipping cream (alternately). Blend well after each addition. Pour into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and place in cold oven. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done.
