Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- lemon or almond flavoring - 1 tsp
- sticks whipped oleo - 2 item
How to make cold oven pound cake:
Whip together the whipped oleo, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat into mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Mix all together. Grease and flour a tube cake pan. Start in cold oven at 300° for 30 minutes, then at 325° for 50 minutes more (one hour and 20 minutes in all).Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low sodium.
