Coffee can ice cream



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • ice - 1 item
  • rock salt - 1 c
  • whipping cream heavy cream - 1 c

How to make coffee can ice cream:

You will also need a 1 pound and a 3 pound coffee can.

Place milk, whipping cream, sugar and vanilla in 1 pound coffee can. Place 1 pound coffee can inside 3 pound coffee can. Pack ice and rock salt all around can. Roll can back and forth on the floor between two people for 15 to 20 minutes. Open can and stir contents. Replace ice and rock salt if needed. Roll for another 10 to 15 minutes.

This is a fun activity for kids. You may add fresh fruit, nuts, cut up candy bar or chocolate chips when you open to stir. Use your imagination.
