- flour - 4 c
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
- water - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- ground almonds - 1/2 c
- chopped raisins - 1/2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
How to make coffee can bread:
You will need two 1-pound coffee cans. Mix 2 cups flour with yeast. Set aside. In saucepan, stir water, milk, butter, sugar and salt over low heat until butter is melted. Cool for 5 minutes. Add to flour and yeast mixture. Add remaining flour, nRecipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Yeast breads.
