Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- pecan pieces - 1 c
- lemon juice, mixed into 1 c - 1 Tbsp
- Wesson oil add last - 1 c
How to make coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. pecan pieces Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix flour, spices, soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat sugars and egg until fluffy. Add dry ingredients to sugar alternately with lemon/milk mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add Wesson oil last. Stir until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with topping ingredients. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
