Ingredients/Components
- flour sifted before measuring
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 3/4 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar, packed
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
How to make coffee cake:
Streusel Topping:3/4 c. brown sugar, packed3 Tbsp. flour3 tsp. cinnamon3 Tbsp. butter, melted Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together. Cut in shortening. Blend in well-beaten egg mixed with milk and vanilla. Beat just enough to mix well. Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with the streusel mixture.
