  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp
  • frozen coconut - 1 pkg
  • sticks oleo or butter - 3 item

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Sift flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture along with sour cream, vanilla and lemon flavorings. Fold in coconut. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes in tube pan.
