Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- sticks butter - 3 item
- sour cream with 1/4 tsp - 8 oz
How to make coconut pound cake:
Preheat oven to 300°. Grease and flour large tube pan. Cream butter and sugar, adding eggs one at a time. Mix well after each addition. Add flour and baking soda, then vanilla and sour cream, mixing well. Stir in coconut. Spoon into tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
