Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- coconut flavoring or 1 tsp
How to make coconut pound cake:
Cream together butter or margarine and sugar; add eggs. Mix well. Add 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup milk. Put baking powder in remaining 1/2 cup milk. Let bubble and settle, then add flavoring. Add remaining 2 cups flour and milk with baking powder and flavoring. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours in greased and floured tube pan.
