- sugar - 3/4 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 3 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- coconut
- Topping:3 egg whites
How to make coconut pie:
Topping:3 egg whites6 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, cornstarch and flour. Add milk with eggs beaten in. Cook until thick. Add butter, vanilla and coconut. Cool; pour into 2 cooked pie crusts.Topping: Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla. Put on pie; sprinkle with coconut. Bake at 300° until brown.
