  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • coconut
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 c

How to make coconut-pecan frosting:

Beat egg yolk and milk together in saucepan; add sugar, butter and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
